Subscription management meets a growing collection.

Knobby wanted membership to offer more than a monthly delivery. The brief brought subscription management together with a playful collection experience: a place for members to manage their subscription, discover designs and scan the collectible cards included with deliveries.

Knobby supplied the brief and interface designs. My role was to develop the portal and connect the member experience to the subscription systems behind it. The subscription portal and initial card-scanning experience are live, giving members one place to manage their subscription and explore their collection.

More than 1,300 customers signed into the portal in the first week. Delivered as Solutions Architect at Supernormal Systems.

As the portal has developed, one important distinction has been between revealing a new design and managing an individual subscription. Those moments follow different rules. Working with Knobby, I made the next action relevant to the member’s delivery: preview the design or manage their subscription. That keeps the shared collection experience connected to what each member can do next.

The work began during my time at Supernormal Systems and continues through Bryte Labs. Deeper rewards and NFC features are planned next, with the aim of giving existing subscribers more reasons to take part.
