Supernormal Systems era

Mr Yum became me&u, and the website changed identity with it: every page rerouted, three jurisdictions of legal fine print intact, no dead ends.

me&u is the hospitality ordering platform serving venues across Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. When the company rebranded from Mr Yum to me&u, the change was global, and the website had to swap identities in public without losing the traffic, the rankings, or a single visitor to a broken link.

The unglamorous heart of a rebrand migration is the routing. Every page on mryum.com needed a mapped successor on meandu.com: the core pages, the integrations, the pricing, the whole blog archive. The legal surface was a project of its own: app terms, privacy policies and cookie policies, each in Australian, UK and US versions, plus the legacy Mr Yum terms that had to stay reachable long after the brand retired. Supernormal managed the website side of the rebrand on a plan that tracked every route with a live status and an explicit testing flag, so “probably redirects” was never the standard.

The rebrand was the start, not the job. What followed was steady website services inside the client’s own design system: a new careers page, an ROI calculator, a localisation audit, and a continuous stream of content and page work as the product and its markets moved. When the time later came to move the production domain itself, the change was planned in the client’s meetings and run live with us in the room, the kind of change you only get invited to when the routine work has been trusted for a long stretch.

A rebrand is judged by what breaks. The whole craft is making sure the answer is nothing.
