A growing merchandise catalogue, with the team’s way of working at its centre.

Merchgirls create custom merchandise for organisations. The catalogue supports the work behind every order: choosing products, preparing quotes and keeping the online store current. The project extended that foundation around the tools and product information the team already used.

The team brought a clear constraint: established product references needed to stay. The plan preserved those references as the catalogue developed, so extending the website did not require the business to renumber its products. Representative products could be reviewed together before changes were applied more widely.

Catalogue editing and website serving were given different jobs. The familiar workspace remained the place to manage product information, while a separate database served the storefront. That let the website’s technical needs be addressed without asking the team to adopt a new daily working interface.

The original work established the catalogue backbone. Development continues through Bryte Labs, with the wider catalogue work progressing from that foundation.
