Supernormal Systems era
The products were modern. The brand and the site were not. This engagement rebuilt both.
Novatti is an ASX-listed Australian payments group with serious products in a modern market: global payments, card issuing, the infrastructure behind other companies’ payment offerings. What had not kept up was everything the market could see. The brand and the corporate site read like the company Novatti used to be, not the one it had become. The engagement, planned in the debrief of the ConnectWise project, was the full journey: brand strategy, identity, a complete site design, and the rebuild and migration of the entire corporate presence.
The strategy was built in the room, in workshops with Novatti’s own leadership, and it landed on two truths. First: payments are genuinely complex, and the businesses choosing a payments partner cannot be expected to master that complexity; they are not comparing feature tables, they are deciding who to trust.
Second: that choice is a commitment. Choosing a payments partner means bringing someone into the heart of your business, and it is hard to change your mind once you have. So the brand was built to read as the partner worth that commitment, invested in the customer’s growth, not a product you plug in. The delivered identity carried the position all the way down: brand guidelines, a separate storytelling guide for how the company talks, partnership and campaign systems, and a full site design that could explain card issuing, sponsorship arrangements and global payment rails clearly enough for the people buying them.
Then the company had to arrive without dropping anything, because a listed payments company’s website is not just marketing. It carries product disclosure documents, market announcements, and the terms behind payment products that partners and regulators rely on, and every one of those URLs is load-bearing. The move was engineered end to end: the old site mapped to the new one link by link, compliance documents migrated with their addresses stable, the terms pages behind Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay integrations preserved, content carried across through a scripted pipeline, security brought up to enterprise standard, a structured QA program run by around ten of the client’s own people on staging, and then the switch: a DNS cutover on the live corporate domain, with forms wired into their CRM and historical data preserved.
They needed to arrive in the modern payments world. The rebrand and the rebuild were the transport.
